Chapter Projects

ICHS Track Team

In the spring of 2017, we began supporting the track team initially in partnership with ICHS New York Chapter after receiving a request to support our track team who were invited as participants at Penn Relays. Supporting the team and Coach Franz Ford was nota difficult request. This began our journey to support the track team on an ongoing basis. Over the years our contributions to the team has been the following: provided accommodations in May 2017 while attending a track meet at the Ansin Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2019 we supported 7 young ladies attending Penn Relays with sneakers, spikes, throwing shoes and jumping shoes. The young ladies used the gears not only for Penn Relays but also during all events for the 2019 season. We have also supported the track team fundraising campaigns by not only purchasing items but also supported them with marketing efforts on our various social media platforms.

Crowd Fundraising Campaign for COVID Relief - March 2020

Fellow ICHS Ladies and Friends of ICHS!

All of us have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Our ICHS community is no different.  Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 the school has been struggling to maintain its day to day operational expenses and require supplemental income.

The school has to invest in teaching technology for staff and students such as tablets and laptops, software and Wi-Fi data access.

In addition to the day to day expenses, one group that has been hardest hit is our supplemental teachers and administrators. They are paid directly by the school and not the ministry.  An example is our athletic staff.  These individuals are critical to the continued success and elevation our school’s high standards.

The combined alumnae chapters (Europe, Jamaica, Florida, Canada, Washington DC, New York and the International chapter)  have joined forces to address these financial needs. We are asking you to join our collaboration and with your help we can offset the school’s financial shortfall. All funds raised will go directly to our Alma Mater.

We are turning to you each of you, our Mac Girl community to once again make magic happen!

No contribution is too small.

We urge you to support this cause by making your contribution today. Encourage your family and friends to be a part of the magic. With their help too, we know we can meet and even exceed our goal.

Thanks to you in advance for always extending your kind and loving support to our beloved Alma Mater.

2019 Crowd Funding for ICHS Track Team

The ICHS Alumnae Association International Chapter is one of several alumnae chapters for the Immaculate Conception High school in Kingston Jamaica.

The International Chapter is a proud supporter of the ICHS Track Team "ICHS Wolves". We have supported this team for the last 6 years with various needs while traveling to track meets in the United States to get the young ladies on the team the much needed experience and exposure at international meets. 2019 is no different for this Chapter. The needs for the team is much greater in 2019 as these young ladies are in needed of sneakers and specialty shoes in order to compete at the highest level without worries.

Team successes to date are as follows: 2017 Kadian Clarke copped Bronze Medal in Shot Put at Penn Relays. Danielle Sloley ISSA Boys and Girls Champs 2017 Gold Medalist and CARIFTA Silver Medallist. Onanda Lowe ISSA Boys and Girls Champs 2017 Long Jump Bronze Medallist.

In 2018 the ladies continued to succeed. Onanda Lowe Silver Medalist i@ Douglas Forrest Invitational Meet in Jamaica. Ashalee Brown, Bronze Medal Winner in Long Jump @ Douglas Forrest Invitational Meet. Immaculate walked away with several podium finishes at the 2018 Camperdown Classics.  Immaculate walked away with 21 medals (6 Golds, 5 Silver and 10 Bronze)  at the 2018 Corporate Area Meet. Danielle Sloley shined at 2018 ISSA Boys and Girls Championships  with a new record and the Gold Medal. Danielle Sloley  ranked 2nd in IAAF World Youth Rankings for 2018. She was also named female lead for Jamaica's team at the World Youth Olympics.

The ICHS Track Team continues to make strides and has recruited new ladies to build depth to the team. These young ladies are on the road to success but are in need of much needed essential gears.

In 2019 7 young ladies will represent ICHS at Penn Relays on April 24th in Pennsylvania. However, these ladies are in dire need of sneakers and spikes to continue their journey.

Please help us help these young ladies to continue shining.  Proceeds will be used to purchase sneakers, throwing shoes, Spikes and Jumping Spikes.

Crowd Funding for Food and Nutrition Lab Renovation Joint Project by All Alumnae Chapters

This is the Immaculate Conception High School (ICHS)  International Alumnae Chapter presenting you with an opportunity to give back to your Alma Mater.

As you may have already heard, the Food and Nutrition is at risk of being closed due to the poor conditions of building and equipment.

Food and Nutrition is a core subject that each of us at some point in our attendance had to take.  Can you imagine if the lab was closed and there were no plans in place to replace it?  Where would our younger sisters go to learn the basics of Home Economics?

As such, the International Chapter united with all the other ICHS Chapters in Jamaica, Florida, New York, Washington DC, Toronto and Europe to create a platform for you to participate in giving.   Yes! That's right!  You get to be apart of this drive to rebuild. To hold your head high and be proud of what your contribution will accomplish.

Much efforts have gone into the planning and design phase of this project.  Now we need your help to make this a reality.
